During my recent stay at Piastun Spa & Wellness in Krynica-Zdroj, I sought an escape from the hustle of fashion photography in Seoul. Nestled in serene surroundings, the hotel offers promising spa services, featuring a well-maintained wellness center, sauna, and heated indoor pool, perfect for unwinding after a long day. I was greeted by several operational shortcomings. The absence of hot water during my shower, paired with towels resembling polishing paper, posed a challenge to comfort. A notable experience was the morning espresso, which I decided to forgo after a lengthy 16-minute wait-perhaps a minor hiccup in an otherwise tranquil setting. With facilities like massage services and beauty treatments, the potential for a rejuvenating stay is evident. While my experience was not entirely seamless, the peaceful atmosphere and wellness amenities invite guests seeking relaxation. For those traveling to Poland looking for rejuvenation, Piastun might still offer a unique retreat, should you manage your expectations accordingly.
